Is strategic planning relevant in Business?

A business venture is an activities that we get ourselves involved in, in other to make an earns meet, and General in other to increase our capital or make profit, as that is the general goals and objectives of a business venture.

Just as we know that whenever a goal or goals are set, they don't just happen or get accomplished. There should be and there are always plans in place which leads to the accomplishment of such goals. Thus in the name STRATEGIC PLANNING, I will say it is a plan to accomplish specific goals but not just with any other plans but involving strategies.

You and a competitor might have the same or similar goals but when you a strategic plan, you're not only planning towards accomplishing those goals, but at the same time you counter and block off potential threats from competitiors.

Planning us a very important part of a business, it is one of the first things an entrepreneur should map out when he has plan of starting a business. business comes with challenges and competition a good plan is what will set a particular business apart an makes it survive during the rough time

Strategic planning is highly relevant in planning a business. What ever we want to to in this life, it is essential for us to plan very well to avoid failure. Is we don't plan ahead, when there is a little shake up, you will not have a way out of easily. If you fail to plan, then you are surely planning to fail.

What I understand with strategic planning is the location of the business with regards to the market base. But now with the internet and social media there is the delivery system that seems to disregard the distance. For common products it is best to have an efficient and effective delivery system as part of the plans.
