For a long time now a lot of people have been made to believe that the nursing profession is one where only females can get engaged in.

This is usually due to the nature of stereotype that has been made through the television programs the news and several media platforms that have made so many people to have this belief system.

They even go as far as limiting how far their children could explore this profession and contribute their own part in the society.

I have created this thread to inform you all and anybody who is really ignorant about this that the nursing profession is one that is open for both male and female children.

It doesn't make sense that people just conclude that this profession is focus for females only.

You have to think outside the box and realise that nursing profession is vast and does not end in the delivery room of the hospital.

As a matter of fact, nursing is very broad and has so many branches whereby both males and females can specialise in and then offer top-notch services in the society without feeling as though it was a profession that was designed for only females.

Would you allow your male child to study nursing?
