Based on my experience, managing a large scale business is more challenging task when compared to managing a small scale one. In this case, what you should know is that you would need more employees, customers, and stakeholders because the scale of operations are always large for big busisnesses. The good thing about small business is it can be managed by only you and you can also oversee every aspect of it personally, but in a large business, there is need to rely on many processes, and teams for it to be managed effectively. Larger businesses would normally have more resources, but it also have more red tape as well .

There is need for you to have a different mindset and skills too. You need this if you want to effectively manage large businesses. You need to think strategically, make tough decisions, and make prioritization for the business growth as well. Those are the challenges in large business management.
In a small business, there is need for to can focus on the day-to-day operations, but in a large business, all you need do is to lay emphasis on the bigger picture and long-term business goals as well.

Depending on your background and what you've learnt in the process of growing your business, if you have experience in the business for example, you are the one that build your business from the ground up, it'll be easier to scale it and control it when it gets larger.

Also, if you have a large company you're taking care of, you can get other people to help you run it, there are qualified people out there that can help you, you can also go take an MBA and gain more knowledge on how to run your company, it's available online too.

Managing a business is one of the most difficult things an entrepreneur can do – in fact, one of the most important things anyone can do. Not all entrepreneurs necessarily have a natural talent and have to put in a lot of work to get it right.
Running a business takes a lot of skill, effort, and time. When your batteries are running low, it's tough to give your focus to the people and processes that need "extra" attention. But paying attention is what will help your business survive and thrive
Big business involves large-scale corporate-controlled financial or business activities. As a term, it describes activities that run from "huge transactions" to the more general "doing big things". In corporate jargon, the concept is commonly known as enterprise, or activities involving enterprise customers.
