Yes, cassava is edible for human beings. It is a root vegetable, and has a high nutritional value. It is rich in carbohydrates, which are essential for energy. The other nutrients like proteins, carbohydrates and vitamins also help in metabolism.

It also contains fiber which keeps us full for longer period of time and helps in digestion process.

The other benefits of eating cassava include; helping to get rid of constipation and various stomach problems.
