At times it may take three months or 6 months or even more to build a reasonable and consistent amount of audience who are ready and capable on watching and viewing including reading any content that you post or upload on your blog. We need to understand that blogging is an activity of many criterias and at times when we engage in blogging activities we begin to study the behaviours as well as the test and preference of people. A blogger most basically have in mind they targeted audience in which he or she wants to click and to view the content in which he or she posts or upload on his or her blog page. Doing so will make him or her channel his or her strength as well as intellectuality in making out contents that are capable of drawing attention of such targeted audience.

You can improve your chances of growing a successful audience by being consistent and by the infrequent in responding to comments in which you are targeted audience leave on your post and uploads comment box.

I'm not an expert in building an audience but I've been involved in such project of building an audience before, I wasn't able to build it to the point where it's profitable though, I'll say it's very tough, you need consistency more than anything, you also need to find your target audience.

That's the mistake I made, I was only writing contents, even though I've gotten some users and views, it is no where enough any serious number that could make me any money, I need a new strategy and also more consistency to build an audience and it's not easy.

It is really difficult to give an exact answer to a question like this. NO one can give you an exact time frame on how long does it take to build traffic on your blog. There are a lot of factors that determine traffic. The most important one is related to SEO> If you have done SEO and if your blog manages to rank on the first page of Google for keywords that get a lot of search hits, you might easily receive traffic in less than 3 months.
