It's time to break the habit.

You're probably spending too much time online shopping and not enough time doing the things that matter most in your life.

Let's face it: we all have our favorite sites, but they're not making us happier or healthier. And they certainly aren't helping us save money!

It's time to stop shopping online, and instead make a change for the better. Here are some tips on how to stop online shopping:

1) Don't use credit cards when you shop online. Using a debit card or cash will keep you from getting sucked into the vortex of debt that comes with using credit cards.

2) Don't use your phone while browsing an online store. you'll end up spending more money than if you had just looked at it on paper! You can also use an app like ShopSavvy which helps you track down coupons and deals for brands that interest you so that when there are sales happening, they're easy to find and take advantage of!

3) If possible try not to buy stuff from Amazon Prime Day (or any other big sales event), because these tend to be overpriced and offer little value unless there is something specific about the item that makes it worth buying at full price instead of regular price (like free shipping).

Even though online shopping has become a common pastime for many, it can quickly turn into an addiction that drains your finances. Break the habit of shopping online in these ways:

Determine the causes: Find out what makes you want to shop online, and then figure out how to get around or replace those things.

Establish a budget: Stick to your spending limit when shopping online.

Remove yourself from mailing lists: Unsubscribe from promotional emails and newsletters to avoid temptation.

Block shopping websites: You can restrict your access to online shopping sites by using apps or website blockers.

Find new interests: Alternate healthy pastimes like reading or exercising with online shopping.

You can kick the habit of shopping online and avoid overspending by following these steps.

One of the worst thing you can do is to look at the root causes of online shopping. Easy access to the credit card is one of the reason why a person can develop the habit of frequent shopping online.

One of the simple way out is to install ad blocker on your smartphone and laptop to prevent someone give us anything adverse that can trigger your emission to buy. It is also equally important to have a budget and stick to it according to the plan. if you think that you cannot overcome this habit by yourself you can see please seek the help of an expert or a counselor.
