When one get to a certain age he or she become vulnerable that is today he or she won't be able to accomplish some tasks he or she does when younger, so it would be best for such ones to retire, some elderly ones may face illness which may not allow them to come to work regularly, so it best for such ones to retire and focus on their, in that case savings comes in to play, in most country some who are retire are not paid mention or gratuities base on the services they render while on service, so it would be best for one to plan for they future, some due start up small scale business in order to support themselves etc.
