It is to first finds out where staff are lacking to know the caliber of people needed

Because the hiring process is time-consuming, The manager or employer needs to get assistance from other managers and human resources professionals to help get the right staff

If the job will need one with the right skills it will good for the applicants to complete a sample work test to help ascertain that the applicant is the best fit for the job

You can also request for help when creating a job description, maybe interviewing the applicants and moving to pick the right person for the job.

It is very bad to understaff your organization. It tends to put enormous pressure on the current staff of that organization. This is so because they have to work and cover up the lapses created by the lack of sufficient staff. Some employers intentionally understand their organizations because they want to conserve the amount they spend on salaries.

I once worked in a school that had 6 classes. The owner of the school only employed 7 people to work as teachers. A teacher was teaching between 4 - 5 subjects. I often wonder how such a school would achieve efficiency

Every employer should strive for the right number of staff that would be sufficient for the capacity of the organization. That idea of managing things to conserve funds that would have been spent on salaries. When the organization has achieved efficiency, the funds generated would be enough to pay staff salaries
