A lot of cryptocurrency and counter- cryptocurrency campagn is on going at various corners of the world. We have the cryptocurrency critics all over the world, in the same vein, we do have myriad of cryptocurrency enthusiast all over the globe too. We have seen protest conducted to allow cryptocurrency take it cause in soke countries. We have seen similar case in the United States which is the leading country in cryptocurrency adoption and events.

The Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the United States have supported some cryptocurrencies and it has also criticised some cryptocurrencies too, which led to the delisting of the criticised digital assets from the major exchanges. This is sometimes a political gimmick aimed at bringing the cryptocurrency down. The beauty is that the effort to bring it down was all aborted.

The Grayscale, the world's largest digital assets manager was in the news. A protest was forced to be made when the financial asset manager wished to convert the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust to Bitcoin ETF. The application was submitted to the SEC for approval but consent was not made.

Michael Sonnenshein, the Grayscale’s CEO Explained that the cryptocurrency as reached the level at which its adoption is a necessity and will not be a matter of choice anymore. The SEC just need to comply to the protest because the protesters won't give up until their stand is absorbed.

The SEC have not been discharging their duties diligently. They have been tagged with various anti-cryptocurrency activities with the master of them all being the XRP saga. I read that the former SEC boss explained that Ripple was not guilty if the charges that was filed against it. The question is- why is the boss coming out now to make such statement after they almost succeeded in destroy the Ripple.
That's a food for thought.

I will solidly agree to your submission. SEC as been linked with several anti cryptocurrency activities because it never supported crypto related activities wholeheartedly. We have seen it recent activities on Ripple and it seems SEC will never relent on its usual activities.

It is no longer news that the security and exchange commission are more of anti cryptocurrency agency that is sadfked with the responsibility of looking for the loopholes of the cryptocurrency companies. Instead of capitalizing on the loophole, why not embark on corrective measures. This will protect the interests if the investors and at large the protection of the exchanges . It is very good to do this, rather than embarking on the hunting mission.
