Okra has anti-inflammatory properties; therefore, it helps in asthmatic conditions.

Okra is also has a lot of dietary fibers, therefore, it aids digestion and helps you if you are suffering from constipation. Due to its alkalizing properties, you can also eat okra if your stomach is upset.

How to get maximum benefits by eating okra

  • If you want to lower blood sugar, soak two okras overnight and drink the water early in the morning.
  • If you want to ease your upset stomach, drink okra soup, or broth.
  • If you are suffering from constipation, eat steamed okra.
  • If you are practicing raw food diet, you can try eating okra raw. It does not taste great when you eat raw, but it is not bad either.

Last but not the least, you should always clean okra before chopping it. Never put it in water after you have chopped or sliced.

I was aware with the fact that okra helps in controlling blood sugar levels. However, remedies like these works only when you are working out hard. If you are already under medication and do not exercise much, these remedies will not work. I like fried okra with steamed rice. I can make at least 5 different dishes from okra.

I really belive that okro is very rich and very medicinal to cure so many sickness.
Okro is very good to cure stomach disorder and also good because it contain iron.
It is also good for pregnant woman because its also aid them to give birth smoothly.
Okro also help one to pass stoles gently.
