Habits you should avoid as an entrepreneur

There are many bad habits that people have that we all need to stop. Here is a list of some bad business practices:

1. Sending fake email or text messages to persuade someone into something they didn't sign up for - A lot of companies do this by sending out spam emails to try and convince people into clicking on the email link. This leads people to enter their personal informations which can then be sold off and used against them in the future. Some companies may even go further down this path by using spam texts to try and persuade people into joining something like a free trial offer in order to get access of a secret number.
2. Exchanging personal information - Using the internet is great and is a great place to do business. There are many people looking to buy and sell things all over the world, but there is one problem. Many of these people are not trustworthy or honest. They will try to gather as much personal information about you as they can and then sell it off to other players around the world in order for them to continue selling illegal things. Case in point, people will try stealing data from your bank account if they know enough information about you such as your social security number, account number, etc.
3. Sending mass emails to your customer base - As much as we would like to think that our customers are not just interested in sales but in trends, competitions and what is happening in the world of business - this is not the case. They are far more interested in buying stuff from you. This means that if you send out an email to all of your customers about something, chances are a lot of people won't bother opening it up.
4. Sucking money out of someone for free - Online gaming accounts can be very expensive, especially if you have subscription services and access to content for them. However, these services can also be a place where people get scammed. Some companies will want to charge you for their service, but then send you a bundle of them for free. This is still illegal and can land your company into financial trouble when the scammer decides to try to extort money from the company.

These are things that one must avoid especially as an online entrepreneur, and I will just add a little of my opinion.

I think as an entrepreneur, you should also avoid indulging in scams and other falsification of things.

There are many entrepreneurs who are of the idea that in an online platform where there is no physical contact or knowledge about who you are interacting and transacting with, you can decide to cheat them by sending fake stuffs or doing some sort of mischief. The bad effect of this is that with time, your business will be well known for fraud and soon you will loose your customers and you may even be under the threat of getting arrested and prosecuted.

Moreso, any serious entrepreneur must know that hardwork is the only way towards success and becoming what you want to be. Entrepreneurs must be mindful of so many things which may be of detrimental effects to their business.
