Small businesses are the backbone of any economy and when they do well, the whole country benefits. So by starting your own business, you are not only helping yourself, but you are also helping your country.

Entrepreneurship might help curb the level of unemployment in the country but even with that we have to understand that it is not everyone that have the interest to establish a business and because of this government are expected to provide employment for people no matter the type of business people are able to established.

I can start up a business now and employ in some people to work for me , those people who are working for private business organisation are not really comfortable and they are doing it for the meantime and they are also looking straight forward to see an opportunity to work for the government because of so many advantage that comes with it.
One of the reason why so many people prefer to work for the government is the fact that they are able to receive pension after retirement which is one of the greatest things at old age .

Yes I very much agree with you on the fact that entrepreneurship is a long term and very viable solution to the problem of unemployment.

First of all, when someone becomes an entrepreneur, he or she has created an employment for himself. Thus, such a person has taken the first step to eliminating unemployment by taking himself out of the circle of the unemployed.

And eventually just as you have highlighted, the person can improve gradually on his or her business and soon need the service of others. This will amount to creating an employment opportunity for others as well. You begin to employ staff that will support you while you pay them and you remove them from the list of the unemployed.

It has a very outstretched effect on the whole society and any entrepreneur is an ambassador of unemployment eradication. Surely becoming an entrepreneur is some good way to eliminate joblessness.
