Deciding what business to start up

When trying to decide what particular business or investment to begin, there are some things that should be at the back of the mind and taken into consideration while doing that.
They include,

✓ Your Financial Strength: There are businesses that require huge capitals and others which require smaller capitals to begin. As someone of little financial strength, it will be foolish for you to start making plans that are not feasible monetarily and that is why your financial strength matters in deciding what business to start.

✓ Marketability of the Intended Business: One must be able to determine whether or not an intended business will flourish in it's intended location. A farming tools selling business will not flourish in urban areas for example. Therefore, you must know the location and the kind of businesses that will thrive there.

These are two important things that one should take note of while deciding on what business to start. What are your views?

Another important factor you should consider when choosing a business to start up is the location of the business.
If you plan on making profit in your choice of business, make sure the said business is something does within that location needs. Its more like identifying a problem in your location then creating a solution to it. Lets say for example, you decide to startup a business whereby you sell children wears in a place filled with high school students, it would be pretty difficult to generate much sales there.
