It would be really difficult to even think crypto currencies would replace traditional fiat Currencies that have been in use since time immemorial. However, the crypto currencies ain't any passing trends, I believe that they are here to stay and would be used by those who accept them for carrying out transactions.
For instance, a lot of young people have made so much money from trading crypto currencies and this translates to the fact that crypto currencies are doing really good in impacting the lives of humans.

Crypto currency is the future, in the sense that it would help a lot of people make money, and not replace trading Currencies.

Cryptocurrency is a very unique means of payment that has revolutionalized our online payments system, and have given us exciting options for our online transactions, which has never felt this good and easier before.

Despite the milestones that have been achieved by cryptocurrency, I don't think that there will ever get to a time when cryptocurrency will replace our fiat currencies. The financial world is so big that it can contain both the fiat currencies, the cryptocurrency and any other form of currency(ies) that might be invented in the future without any one replacing the other.

Personally I don't think the project of Crypto currency was developed with the sole aim to replace the traditional money rather as a means of making transactions seamlessly without any third party interference especially payment for goods and services. Crypto currency is a digital Currency that only the people who has the internet knowledge can easily use them for activities . The only reason Crypto currency could easily replace the traditional money is if the whole world go Into cashless economy which is not feasible anytime soon.

It is not possible for crypto currencies to replace traditional fiat currencies. It can only be widely used and more popular that the traditional currencies.
