this can be referred to as when a worker can easily move from one occupation job or career to another for example if a journalist now tends to become a banker he has performed occupational mobility of labour.
and the various obstacles that can affect mobility of labour and some of the factors is the cost of the profession. the training that is supposed to be under god for the profession can be costly both in terms of time and money and this can affect the mobility of a label for example professions like medical professions can be expensive and costly when one undergoes the training. and also when there is a large margin of salaries label tend to move but if it is low occupational mobility of labour will not take place. and also when a particular family are known to be associated to a particular profession like loyal and doctor it will be difficult for a single member of family to pull out from that profession does the occupational mobility of labour can be discouraged. I'm also there is extensive political instability can be an obstacle to level movement and so therefore the occupational mobility of labour will be discouraged too. even discrimination can also serve and an obstacle in occupational mobility of labour job discrimination of sex age and colour and even gender can make labour not to move
