1. Walking:
Walking is a good remedy for all kinds of illness. Therefore, go for a thirty to forty minute walk every day. This will prevent weight gain and keep the body in good physical shape. Walking also increases the metabolism in the body and corrects the insulin levels, and thus prevents diabetes.

2. Whole grain foods:

Oats, barley, hand-milled rice, and small grains are all good for breakfast. The nutrients and fibre in these whole grains control the level of sugar in the blood and prevent diabetes. It also relieves constipation problems.

3. Fenugreek:

About twenty-fie to thirty grams of fenugreek should be included in the diet daily. This will prevent the level of sugar in the blood from rising. Fenugreek also gives coolness to the body.

Although walking is among the best exercise but If working was able to stop people from getting diabetes then a lot of people I know with diabetes won't have it in the first place because they engage in so much activities including walking but yet they still get it... Most of these are hereditary , and what I know about it is that the type of food we eat on daily basis really matters Alot.

All the mentioned tips are very good and can help the situation.Diabetes has to do with excess sugar in the body and if it is not controlled can weaken the body system and can easily or probably lead to untimely death.The ailment render the body immune useless and make it ineffective.Excess of it can also lead to infertility in the gender.

The best method to prevent diabetes is by doing exercises regularly avoid foods high in sugar and high in calories and also avoid smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol as it also causes a high risk of having diabetes. Consuming garlic and ginger also helps to reduce the risk of diabetes
