Due to the rate of divorce in present time, we cannot help but acknowledge the fact that our parents did a better job than this present generation. Most of Our parents who got married in the ,60s,70s and 80s had their spouses chosen for them by their parents or elder relations. Most of these arranged marriages are still standing strong and serve as good models. On the contrary, the younger generation which is more exposed and gifted with different means of meeting and knowing their spouses before they are officially wedded, have registered more separations and divorces than history has recorded with some marriages lasting as short as 11 days. Baring this is mind, would you trust the choice of your future partner to your parents or trusted relation?
