The competition amongst the cryptocurrencies are ongoing. The leading cryptocurrency is often seen to influence the movement of other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is the leading cryptocurrency and often, its movement dictated the movement of most of cryptocurrencies in the crypto market. The reason is that most of the cryptocurrency investors holding the king coin also holds about 80% of the altcoins. This is the more reason why the behaviour of investors towards the king coin and other cryptocurrencies tend to be the same.
Moreover, the positions of the cryptocurrencies are not constant due to the volatility. The level of fluctuations determines the position at a particular point in time. This is why the cryptocurrencies displaced each other on the table. The position occupied by the cryptocurrencies is not constant and they tend to displace each other, except bitcoin and ethereum that has a constant position.
Bitcoin as been occupying the first position and the Ethereum occupied the 2nd position. I don't see ethereum displacing bitcoin in the future because the price disparity is so huge.
Avalanche and Solana recorded a rapid growth . Expert revealed that it was due to massive adoption around the coin. The adoption of Avalanche was so huge that the rate of upward movement was so significant and pronounced.
This drastic push made Avalanche overtake Solana and tron in terms of market capitalization.
