Cyber security is the use of technology, procedures, and policies to defend against cyber assaults on systems, networks, programmers, devices, and data. The primary goal of cyber security is to secure all corporate assets from both external and internal threats, as well as natural disaster interruptions. Its goal is to limit the risk of cyber assaults and to safeguard against unauthorized use of systems, networks, and technology.
Cyber-security has three types of threats:
1. Cybercrime encompasses both single individuals and organizations that attack systems for monetary gain or to create damage.
2. Politically motivated information collection is often used in cyber-attacks.
3. Cyberterrorism aims to disrupt electronic systems in order to generate panic or fear.
As a result, cyber security is employed to protect against all of these external and internal risks, ensuring that no data, programs, or networks are lost and that no one suffers any losses.
