There are hundreds of indicators out there some are free and come pre installed in trading packages while some are paid and you have to pay a top dollar to have access to them, most traders use indicators not for their accuracy but for confluence to make sure you're making the right decision when you decide to buy or see at the market.
Personally I utilize the RSI and I use it to trade the market, I don't rely on the RSI let say to generate signals for me, but for example if I'm looking to buy and RSI is also pointing up then yes, I will take a buy at the market, I use it as a confluence not the sole reason why I place a trade.
