Since the resources is scarce then everybody need to make good use of that little one and utilize it in such a way to meet their need.
Management can be defined as:
(1) Making things happen;
(2) Getting thins done through the directed efforts of other people;
(3)Efficient allocation and utilization (use) of scarce resources example are Men,Money,Material,Method and Time for the achievement of the objectives of an organization or Enterprise.

Basic function of management refers to the main duties performed by Manager irrespective of the mature of their job and the situation under which the job is done.
There are Four basic Function of Management.
They are:
(1) planning: Planning is taking up mostly among the higher executive or those that are very competent in the organisation or company in other for the company to achieve their aims and objective.
(2) Organizing: under this organising we can see structuring and staffing. That is the way in which an organisation is been carrying or executing their activities.
(3) Integrating: under this we have Leading,Communicating, Directing and motivating.
(4) Measuring: under this measuring we have Controlling and adjustment.
If an organization or company is not well manage there is tendency that it will latter run down or collapse.
