surely! You have a lot of expenses as a student. You might also need to purchase the books, supplies, and other items you require to do your assignment. You must earn money if you want to be able to afford these items.

Here are some tips on how to make money while in college:
Create an email list and send out great content. You don't need to be all that creative or crafty to create content that will attract people who want to hear from you. Focus on writing quality articles that solve problems and provide answers for your audience.

Start a blog where you write about topics related to your area of expertise. This will help build up your reputation as an expert in your field and make it easier for people to find information about what you do when they search for it online.

Get involved with local organizations or clubs that focus on issues that are important to you, such as politics or social justice issues. If there's something specific that you feel passionate about and want to promote, then join an organization dedicated to changing things in the world.

There are numerous ways students can make money, and I believe those in secondary School have much time to earn some money than those in University. Apart from online,we have other numerous ways, during my time in secondary school,by then there is no much knowledge about online earning, unlike these days that there are different online methods.

One of the best ways is teaching fellow students for a token of cash as you stated,if you are intelligent in some areas, like mathematics, chemistry or any other, you can easily offer to teach who ever wants to learn from you, especially when exams are approaching. Doing menial job after school is also a good way to earn, because you will have school expenses to settle and it's a good way not to bother your parents with any little school bills to pay. You can also sell little stuffs to your fellow students, this is common in Nigeria,in the northern states, they prepare small snacks, hand made small bags, some chops to sell and make some money. Having something doing as a student is one of the best idea so far.

A college student should be on the lookout for scholarship grants that will pay for tuition, books, or allowances. National and local governments offer scholarships besides free or low tuition fees. Some private companies and organizations also offer scholarships as part of their corporate social responsibility programs.

Other than that, students may take part-time jobs, preferably one that is related to their course of study. They can apply as apprentices or trainees. Fast food chains usually hire college students as part of their crew, and such jobs may provide money, experience, and exposure.

Nowadays, more college students are opting to work online on paid-to-post websites as well as micro-job sites like UHRS and MTurk. Online work offers more flexibility and convenience because they can earn money without leaving their home.
