Waiving rent for business place in response to the pandemic situation

In this pandemic period many businesses here closed shop particularly the customer-based businesses like restaurants and stores. The main reason is not the low number of customers but more on the rental. One store owner said he was losing big on the monthly rent so he decided to close shop.

After some time the landlords seemed to have learned a lesson. If the tenant is gone then he has no more income from the rent. The solution is to waive the rent temporarily and the tenant would share a part of the revenue. Fair enough, said some tenants so the business was once again opened. Fortunately the delivery system is working well and orders for delivery is somehow giving those businesses a good revenue.

Well, this is about always looking at the situation of things and sees how money can still be made either directly or indirectly. I’m always for money making as long as it isn’t detrimental to the next person by all means go ahead. It should be beneficial to all parties involved
