One of the major problems investing in real estate, is that politicians/officials are forcing some home owners to sell their home cheaply resulting in losses. For this, the politicians have their associates burgle the house, damage the doors, plumbing repeatedly so that no one can live in the house. They are specifically targeting empty houses which owned by older single citizens to force the owner to sell the property. The home owner may not renovate the property since they are worried that the burglars will vandalize the property again, wasting their money. What is the best way to prevent vandalization of a home ?
