Anybody who knows how to make YouTube videos might have come across what do we call creative Commons videos. It is videos in some section of YouTube in which anyone is allowed to use to monetize their own channel.

When you get such a videos you can edit them and use them in your own channel and be able to monetize but at the same time there are some certain things you must put into consideration in order not to get your channel restricted.

You have to understand that some of those videos are not really creative Commons videos originally because there are people that can download some videos and upload them on Youtube without any permission. Some of them can list those videos that are not theirs in the creative Commons section.

And you as someone who does not know woll use it to upload on your channel and your channel will be restricted or given a strike. So before you use such videos it is always important and necessary you make proper research and it is also important you edit them and put your own voice overs in order not to get strike from YouTube. Strikes can get your channel restricted and you may not be able to monetize.
