Gone are the days when one had to gather a team of musicians just to record a song. Nowadays, music studios have become a one man thing and a business that anyone with a music background can do. Setting up a music studio as a business is quite lucrative. Below are some tips to get started
1) Get a sound PC: In today's world of digitization, all the musical instruments needs to produce a song are packed into software. A sound PC is necessary for a music studio.
2) Study/ train yourself on at least two DAW: Digital Audio Workstations are the software that are used to produce music. You must study and understand how to use at least two of them individually and in combination. I recommend FL Studio and Audacity for beginners.
3) Get a boom mic and small studio speakers: You need to buy at least one boom mic for audio recording and spaeakers that would act as monitors when you are working.
With these, your mini music studio should be up and running.
