Below are some helpful tips to help you budget your finances and pay your bills without having to spend more money.

-Learn the difference between a debit card and a credit card. A debit card withdraws directly from your checking account while a credit card allows you to borrow money up to a certain limit.
-Set small, achievable goals such as paying off one bill per month instead of trying to pay off five at once, which can be difficult for some people.
-Don’t put purchases on your credit card that you know will be paid off with cash or debit before the due date because this will just increase your debt and interest payments.
-Refrain from using a credit card altogether. It is easier to spend money when you don’t have to look at the actual dollar amount.
-Stop going to places that you know are heavy on your wallet such as restaurants and coffee shops. Coffee can be bought at grocery stores and restaurants can be enjoyed with friends, instead of spending money on them individually.
-Ask for help! Don’t try to do this by yourself. If you need assistance, reach out.
