Sinusitis is an or chronic (long- term) inflammation of the sinuses or hollows in the bone that open into the nose.

Sign:
- Pain in the face above and below the eyes( it hurts more when you tape lightly just over the bone, or when the person bends over.)

- Thick mucus or pus in the nose, perhaps with a bad s. The nose is often stuffy.

- Fever ( sometimes).

- Certain teeth may hurt.

Treatment:
- The person should drink a lot of water.

- Sniff a little salt water into the nose.

- put hit compresses on the face.

- use decongestant nose drops such as phenylephrine.
To help open a stuffy nose, often all that is needed is to sniff water with a little salt in it. Neo- synephrine may be used for stuffy it ' runny' nose, especially if the person has ( or often gets) infection if the inner ear.
One can use nose drops by putting 1ir 2 drops in each nostril . Do this 4 times a day. Do not use for more than 3 days or make a habit of using these drops.

- Use an antibiotic such as tetracycline, ampicillin of penicillin.

- If the person does not get better., seek medical help.

Prevention:
When you get a cold and a stuffy nose, try to keep your clear.
