The money and the love of money, any correlation?

Some of us would have been hearing it form many Holy Books especially the Bible that the love of money is the root of evil. Meanwhile some people have quoted this assertion in a different way that money is the root of evil. This has being a serious controversial issue among many religious leaders especially the Christians. It is no so surprising that some people believe to just remain average without any financial buoyancy which some believe a d aspire to be greatly rich and wealthy.
These terms are the distinguishing factor and the bone of contention between the two factions.
In your own opinion, is money really evil or its love?

I will start by quoting the bible which says " the love of money up is the root of all evil" but the bible also forget to say the love of money is also the root of all good things, if you wanted to do bad things in life , you will need money to sponsor it, same thing goes to if you wanted to do good things in life too, money is essential in life and if you want to be successful , you need to love and struggle to earn money.
