As a business man or woman, you probably already know how important it is to keep your lawn equipment in good condition. If you don't use it, you'll lose money. But if you don't store it properly, your equipment will rust and rot quickly.

1. Store lawn equipment in a dry, well-ventilated area.

2. Keep your lawn equipment covered with a tarp or other protective covering when not in use.

3. Make sure there is adequate ventilation around the storage area and vehicles so that mold, mildew and moisture do not build up on or around the equipment or vehicles themselves.

4. Remove any dirt or debris that may have accumulated on your equipment over the season by raking it off before storing it for the winter months.

5. When storing your lawn mower, rake out the grass clippings and debris from underneath so they do not accumulate in one place where they can be easily tracked into your home during spring clean up season.

1. Always try to keep your lawn equipment in a dry place that is not too hot or cold.

2. Avoid storing lawn equipment near heaters, hot water lines, or other sources of heat that might damage it over the summer months.

3. Make sure there is enough air circulation around your lawn equipment so it doesn't become damp and moldy during the season.

4. Never store lawn mowers, trimmers, or other heavy-duty tools in plastic bins, as this will cause them to rust and corrode over time. Instead, use metal toolboxes with lids that are secured with bungee cords or cable ties around them (see photo below).

5. Store all of your tools together in one place so they can be easily identified by their serial numbers or other markings on them (see photo below).
6.
Never store near chemicals or fertilizerso. Don't put batteries into the machines (they are dangerous)

7. Keep safety gear nearby.
