In the pandemic era, the board of directors had decided to waive the rent of their tenants. But instead of the fixed rental the tenant would pay a commission of their revenue to the mall so that at least the mall has something for the maintenance.
That is a nice gesture of the mall owner because they clearly understood the pains of a business owner when the revenue is cut down to 30% because of the social distancing protocols. For sure the tenants .now have the courage to pursue their business because they have no pressure regarding the rent.
