Personally and official, I think that It is completely normal and common for businesses to have multiple sources of revenue. Having multiple revenue streams can provide a business with more financial stability and security, as it can help to mitigate the impact of any fluctuations in one specific area of the business. For example, a business that relies solely on sales of a single product or service may be vulnerable to changes in the market or shifts in consumer preferences. However, a business that also generates revenue through other sources, such as advertising, licensing, or partnerships, would be less affected by changes in the primary revenue stream.

Having a diverse revenue stream can also help a business to grow and expand. For example, a business that generates revenue through a variety of channels, such as retail sales, wholesale distribution, and online sales, will be able to reach more customers and increase its market share. Additionally, having external sources of revenue may help a business to be more resilient to the economic downturns and recessions. This is because when one revenue stream is down, the other streams may still be generating income and thus cushioning the overall impact on the business. In conclusion, having multiple sources of revenue can be beneficial for a business as it can provide financial stability, growth opportunities, and resilience to market fluctuations.
