Saving money is truly an act that should be emulated. People should cultivate the act of saving at least for a dry day. However, money should not be saved always. There are should be sometimes when saving should not be done. Those times include the following:

Money should not be saved when there is recession. Saving money during recession especially for an average being is like harming oneself. Survival should be the major thing during this time and not really saving.

During devaluation: when money is devalued, it will lose its purchase power and therefore not be able to perform better. During this time, investment is better.
