Real estate Scammers are always on the look out to make potential buyers their victims. You would fall a victim if you are not doing your due diligence as well.
There are different ways you would be setting yourself up if you don't do your homework well. You are setting yourself up if you don't do the following:
Not asking for Referrals
You would hardly fall a victim of real estate scam if you ask others like friend, family members even coworkers to recommend their moving company.
Not getting estimates from different companies
You would get yourself into scam but just keeping to one company. Doing this might just get you scsmmed easily as you are working with limited information
Avoiding to see the Red Flags
You are setting yourself for scam when you don't acknowledge the scams before you like the moving company asking for a cash deposit before you moving day
Working with unlicensed moving company
You are not working with movers that are licensed and Insured. So you want to be scammed if you are working with unlicensed moving company. Again, you would get scammed if you are working with a mover that you verify the moving company’s license
Working with moving companies with no Professional Accreditation
You are settlng yourself up for a scam if you work with company that have no trade associations membership or approved seal.
