The famous British auction house Sotheby's has sold a rare black diamond, "The Enigma" for more than $4.2 million. The most surprise thing was that, the buyer has paid Price in cryptocurrency.

- It is of 555.55 carats.
- It has 55 facets.
- It's estimated age is about 1 billion years.
- It's origin is uncertain, but it is not believed to be originated in Earth. Furthermore, it is believed that this is a fragment of a diamond made black asteroid.
- According to the Guinness Book of World Records, 2006, it is the largest cut diamond in the world.
Sotheby's did not disclose the name of The Enigma's buyer, or in which cryptocurrency the price was paid; but, Richard Hart, the creator of HEX, has claimed on Twitter that he is that anonymous buyer. Hart has dedicated The Enigma to the HEX community.
