Many individuals have learned about the impact of electronic marketing when it comes to using it to promote or advertise business goods and services. But yet many of them are unable to actually make use of electronic marketing in their respective businesses and that is because of illiteracy. Many business owners are computer illiterate and so they do not have credible knowledge and experience on how to use the internet or gadgets to access the internet so as to take advantage of its vast number of potential customers and client. Another possible challenges faced by electronic market users could be the problem of inadequate internet connection. Electronic marketing which can be known as e-marketing will obviously need the existence of good internet connection so as to be able to carry out good and credible electronic marketing activities, however when this is not in existence it can lead to bad e-marketing problems such as loss of customers quotation and order.

Finally another problem faced by e-marketing users, would be the unavailability of technical know how. Technical and technological infrastructure plays a very important role to e-marketers and when this is not in existence it can be a big problem because e-marketers will have to go a long way to satisfy the meet and want of customers and clients which of course could lead to spoilage and wastage of resources.

Many businessmen have realized the importance of email marketing to promote their products and services. However, computer and internet illiteracy can be a barrier. Insufficient internet connection also hinders effective marketing. Technical knowledge is key and lack of it can lead to problems.
