The increase rate of poverty in Nigeria is no new news , since the year 2015 approximately half of Nigerians population began living in poverty , and we all know the cause . Bad governance and political instability befalls poverty in Nigeria . Poverty is an abstract word which is associated with many things and by definition poverty means a lot of material possessions belonging to persons . When measuring poverty in an economy like Nigeria it often equates to a lack of some of the most basic and important material goods such as clothing's , shelter , health facilities , job , education , an increase in disease and sickness etc .
But can poverty ever be alleviated in Nigeria well the idea of solution for poverty is to find out ways in which people can work their own way out of poverty . one way in which poverty can slightly be alleviated is to consider the act of applying appropriate combination of mineral fertilizers in order to improve soil fertility and health , which can improve farming productivity . This at least could lead to more nutritious food in farmers and local markets which also leads to better health meaning more employment more income per capita and more to invest in farming and other sector .
