As we dedicate time and energy to learn skills we often forget about some important skills that will really help us in landing a job or communicating with our colleagues, you will see someone with the required skills for a job but he don't have a good communication skill, you don't know how to express himself, and this can be a serious problem especially if you are working remotely, and can lead to loss of job, this article will look at some skills that you need to be build to be employable.
Good communication skills, you need to learn how to express yourself in a simple manner without complicating the conversation, learn to use simple language in conveying a message, avoid using complex words, it is a turnoff for most people.
Emotional intelligence, you should be able to read peoples body language, subtle signs, learn to think on your feet, always be rational and if you don't have anything meaningful to say you're better off keeping quiet.
Creativity, you should be able to think of solutions to problems when they arises, feel free to think outside of the box and don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it, no man is an island.
