1. Hatching
This is the process of producing fingerlings, that's spawning the male and female catfish to reproduce. The hatching process involves some procedures and conditions that should be met in order to register success. What is needed? Water management, temperature, and managing the fries till they become fingerlings.

2. Selling of fish feeds
If you have the money, you can invest in selling of fish feed. Just like humans need to eat to grow and still alive, the catfish also needs good food to aid its growth.

3.Advertisement
Having a big fish farm,you can make cool money by advertising your fish farm online.You can do that using social media, radio or television.Talking about social media marketing.I prefer using Facebook or telegram to do that.Why? because you'll meet millions of people there to see your ads,not until you have their contact like WhatsApp.

Cat fish business is a very lucrative business and if done well with proper management and guidance,you can make a lot of money from it regardless of the crumbling economy.

Fish Farming is a complete profitable business.....but professionalism is needed for the business to be successful. Because doing fish Farming needs some certain amount of skills to succeed. If you don't have the knowledge to take care of the fingerlings, they might die before they reach maturity. If we can learn how it's done before we start, we can be successful in doing the business.

Fish framing is very lucrative. 10 fingerlings can get so big and multiply in a short period of time if you know how to take care of them, right feed.

Restaurant rants, bars , local pepper soup joints can demand this and you supply them on a regular basis. They kill and sell it everyday.

Everything about this business is lucrative from the fish to the feed.

The downsides are poor treatment or feeding can kill them easily, the fish can eat themselves. The water can pollute the air if no good drainage and dirty water can also kill them.

Nice business idea.. rearing of catfish may be a profitable business depending on how you manage it , that is , the act of buying the fingerling and growing until it becomes ready for sell... That is what most people are doing because the process of producing fingerling may be much more complicated but it is easier for you to buy the fingerling at once to grow it to sell it later for higher profit...

Inasmuch as this is a lucrative business some level of experience is needed for you to be able to do the business successfully , not really so much but you have to know when to change the water and went to change the feeding and so many other things just like chicken farming..

I have seen a lot of people who are engaging in this business in their residential compound but to me I don't see it as the best option because growing of catfish in a residential compound may not really be suitable because it can cause air pollution.. it would rather be the best for people to set up this business in a farm or a separated environment to reduce the rate of breathing polluted air.

Fish farming only require one to know how to manage the farm very well. Because fish farming require one to know more about the business very well before venturing in to it due to some problems one may encounter in it.
The fish must be well vaccinated and feed them very well at the right time so that one will be able to make good profit from it.
Some problem that may come up from there is that ; the fishes may be dying due to some diseases that might have affected them if one did not take proper care of them at the right time.
If one refuse to feed them properly they may not be able to grow very well as they ought to due to lack of sufficient feeding.
When all these is well handle then one will surely find it very easy and more profit will be coming in.
