Limitations of running business at the level of self-employed.

A business person over time needs to set structures and run a business at the level of a business owner. Unfortunately, most business people prefer to stay at the level of just being self-employed than move up to the level of being a business owner.

A person that runs a business at the level of self-employed has some factors that limit that business. These factors are

1) The Business can't take large orders/ contracts/ jobs: A business operating at the level of self-employed lacks what it takes to take up orders that are huge and would bring much money. Can a tailor that works alone be able to sow 1000 clothes in one month? Never.

2) The business dies with the owner: When a business is not structured, the death of the owner means the death of that business. A business that is structured can relatively run on its own even in the absence of the owner.
