Bitcoin, like most of the other cryptocurrency, is capped at a certain amount. The supply of Bitcoin is capped at 21 million coins which means that when there will be 21million bitcoins in circulation, then no other bitcoin will be minted. Currently there are between 18 and 19 million bitcoins already in circulation which means only 2-3 million more bitcoins can be minted.

Bitcoin has been capped at 21 million, even though the actual amount of BTC is not in the whole number 21 million but 20,999,817.31 BTC. and currently the number of BTC available for mining is 1,344,319 BTC. In the mining process, one block of transactions can be completed in around 10 minutes. With the halving, the miners' rewards will be reduced and miners in April 2024 will only get a reward of 3,125 BTC per block. It is estimated that BTC will be finished mining in 2140, so the time needed to mining Bitcoin for around 131 years.

Impact of Bitcoin Supply Limits
The increasing demand for Btc, while the supply is very limited, will make the price of Bitcoin soar even higher,
Currently the price of BTC is $68k, while the ATH of $73k was reached two days ago.
