Is the provision of entertainment time important in a business organisation.

It is often said that " all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy " . You will agree with me that you have heard or come across this saying above possibly from a colleague or a teacher in school . The existence of entertainment time in a business organisation is very relevant , no matter how industrious , hard-working , and attached we are to our business . We must endeavour to create time to rest , to chill , and revigorate our bodies and mind . Business owners who have employees working for them shouldn't only be concerned about work all the time , sometimes it pays better to provide refreshments to your employees . Actions like this will show that you are a flexible and non-rigid employer .

Being too attached to our work either as a self-employed business owner or an employee working under an employer could lead to stress and other health-related issues like brain failure and insanity . So make it your priority to create time to work and also create time for refreshment and revigoration of our mind and bodies . An individual is more likely to be mentally and physically smart as a result of good physical or mental wellness .
 
Truly, All work and no play they say makes Jack a very dull boy indeed, the human mind functions better when it is not so stressed many people are not aware of that fact, hence they believe the only way for them to be productive in their everyday dealings and every day work at the office is keep working from Monday to Monday and not taking any break. This they do all in a bid to make more money. And many of the times after earning that much they begin to spend it on their health as they will have acquire some form of illness as a result of excess stress. This is what a major organization understands that is why they always make provision for break so a to enable the workers to take some light refreshment and they k ow that break they have given to the staffs will increase their efficiency when they get back to work.

There are organization that reserves some funds for the purpose of vacations for their staffs so that they can engage themselves in some other recreational activities that will boost the morals of their workers. It is is indeed essential to take time off to rest.
 
The provision of entertainment time is important in a business organization. All work and no play makes the workers dull and unproductive. Most business organizations see entertainment as a trivial issue which can even cause employees to loose focus but this untrue. It is high time Managers realize the importance of happy hours in the work environment. Hours where breaks are observed to calm the nerves of the workers, where they can have healthy conversations that is unrelated to work and forget about the work stress and demands. The inculcation of this act would boost and energize their zeal to avoid burnouts and frequent breakdown.


The provision of entertainment time is necessary and this boost total worker's productivity. You should try it with your workers and see the impact it would hace on the organization. Some bad managers would see it as waste of their resources and if they manage to agree, they would infringe on the workers by deducting it from their salary which the impact would not be felt because the aim has been forfeited. I worked in a company where we went for a two-day holiday in a reputable resort and it did not affect our salaries, we came back all active and agile and in the following month, we recorded the highest sales.
 
There is rest after work say ones of the holy books. People need to be eased from stress ok order for them to be effective. That's why the saying all works without play make Jack a dull boy. But the time of entertainment to be put into place will depend on the type of business that one is into.

Banking for instance doesn't really give break during work. Not because the workers don't get tired. But the fact is that customers should be treated with utmost importance. Customers cannot wait for the workers to be observing their breaks. This gives the workers no option to keep all working till they close. But to be eased of stress, the bankers always go on break which is always called leave.

Educational structure is organized in such a way to make the learners and the teachers refresh their memories. They always observe recess, break and even holiday. These are just means to ensure that the learning takes place effectively. Going on without break will automatically produce a bad result.


Almost every sector of work know the importance of break but it doesn't necessarily mean that they must provide entertainment during this break. It may just be to refresh memories.
 
If you think that entertainment time should be created in a organisation , that means everyone had to abandon what they are doing and go on a break . This may not really be the best because it will definitely affect the business , if there is need for this it shouldn't be on daily basis but at least monthly or yearly basis , with this one I can understand that it may be possible .

At least in a business organisation , it is not nice for everyone to go on a break at the same time but everyone should have their own time which they go for some few minutes break , so that people will still be available to take up some responsibility while others go on a break and also the other way now.

Anyway I haven't seen a business organisation that gave a strict time for break, but they can just make it afternoon that everyone had to take their lunch or what they like but people should not abandon the business just because they just want to take a break .

Anyway sure it also depend on the business , there are some business that this may be possible.
 
It is often emphasized and said that energy lost must be regained , and that is very much applicable to a business organisation that comprises of employees and employers , the employees try to do their best to achieve assigned duties and tasks given to them by their employer so that business goals and objectives could be achieved and accomplished the right and effective way and in the course of achieving this business goals this employees become very tired and exhausted . What will it taking you as a good business owner to provide some sort of entertainment and refreshments for your employees so as to revigorate their mental faculties and their energy so as to still be motivated to accomplish more business goals and objectives .

It is advised for a business owner to sort out ways to entertain his employees possibly after a long day of business activities they simply shows that he cares about them and also have their interest in his or her heart and mind . Business owners must also show their gratefulness and gratitude when a particular employee perform his assigned tasks and duties effectively without any mistake , this simply shows that he is very interested in their progress .
