Forex trading and Gambling are often been lumped into the same category of zero sum game which means In business like this for someone to win someone has to lose, it is not advisable to play these type of games because their complete premise is to actually go against each other instead of positive sum game where when people come together they tend to succeed and even improve other aspects of the society.
I think it can be either of the two depending on them player and what he or she set out to achieve in these sort of games.
