DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) is a United States defence agency and an independent arm of the Pentagon. The agency is building a project to contain the threat of cryptocurrencies, which may pose a risk to national security. The agency has hired "Inca Digital" for one year for this work.
Inca Digital will complete the project of assessing the crypto market and digital assets and controlling their use. DARPA is providing Inca Digital with all the assets for this.
To say, this is being done for the national security of America, but if this project is successful, America could take control of the crypto market.
