Micromanaging is one frustrating act to the employees. You can deal with your employer or manager always been all up in your face. You can possibly leave the job because of this. You would fare better if you can handle the situation successfully
So how can you deal with working with a micromanager
Bring the habit to the employer's knowledge
The truth is that some managers might be oblivious to the overbearing habits. So it is good to first weigh to know if the person concerned is aware of or not ot this behavior. Bringing it to their notice might just spark the right course of correction and change needed. This is because they might not have known about it.
Exercise patience
You would need to be patient with micromanagers especially for those that are willing to change. Remember this didn't happen in a day . So don't expect any magical turnaround and an immediate Change with them.
Consistently deliver results
Micromanager just want to cage workers so that they can do their jobs as much as they want. So they get overtly involved if you want a reduction of this for you. then do more of delivery your jobs successfully and see this kind of manager naturally back off.
