How to Take Proper Excuse From Job without Decline

Have you ever been overworked at work? Do you feel that you finally have to take a day off from work to balance your mind and body? There are certain steps which you can follow to get a proper excuse from your job without actually having to decline your boss or anybody else.

The first thing to do is to find out whether you really need an excuse or not. If there are some valid reasons for taking a day off, then you could easily get one by asking for it. For example, if you have a serious medical issue or if your family member has passed away recently, then it would be easy for you to get permission from the authorities. On the other hand, if there is no reason for taking leave, then it would be better for you to keep quiet about it and just go ahead with your work schedule.

The next thing that you should do is to write down all the important information about yourself as well as about your situation on paper. This will help the person who will take care of your request in understanding what exactly happened and how he can help you out in getting an appropriate leave. He will also know how long the leave will take.

If possible, always let your boss know in advance. If it is not possible, then simply call him or her as soon as possible. Never just stop showing up without letting anyone at work know where you are going and when you will be back.
