A geographical business survey, or GBS, is a fantastic way to plot out your potential sales and the best locations for your business. It's also a great way to fill in gaps for existing businesses that could use some insight into how they can improve their services.

if you're considering taking a geographical business survey, there are several different things you should consider.
1. What is the purpose of your survey? There are a lot of purposes, from making sure that you're complying with regulations to finding out if people in a certain neighborhood would like a new business.

2. Who is your target audience? If you're trying to get an accurate snapshot of an entire country, for example, then a very different methodology is required than if you're trying to find out what people in one neighborhood think about your business idea. Track that behaviour.

3. How are you going to administer your survey? The answer to this question will depend heavily on the answer to the previous question—your methodology can be very simple or quite complex, depending on how many people you want or need to hear from and who they are.

4. What's your budget? Even if you only want to survey 10 people in your neighborhood, it's important to put together a budget so that everything goes smoothly and nothing gets overlooked. A bigger budget means more options and the possibility of more accurate results, but it also means more work on the back.
