According to National Alliance for Mental Illness, more than 40 million people in the United States suffer from anxiety (19.1 percent of the total US population). According to World Health Organization, 1 in 13 people suffer from anxiety globally. What is alarming is most people develop the condition even before reaching the age of 21 years.

It is very possible either you or your family members or someone you know closely might be already suffering from anxiety. Here are a few tips that might help you to ease anxiety attacks.

Breathing Exercise: You may have never realized the power of proper breathing, however, you can just sit relaxed and start breeding deep and you will understand how easy it is to ease tension, stress, depression, and even anxiety through deep breathing.

Exercise: Most of us know how exercise helps our body to remain in shape and good health, however, not many realize that exercise is also very good for mental health. After exercise, it is very common to feel good because a lot of feel-good hormones will be released.

Creative Activities: Activities like singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, drawing, and painting greatly help in not only easing anxiety symptoms also relieving stress and depression.

Coldwater: You need to hydrate your body to feel good.
