Technical analysis is the bread and butter of forex trading, it is what will help you learn where the market is, where it is going and how to enter and exit your positions, technical analysis is like a map and learning it is akin to learning how to read one, after graduating from Babypips, you should learn technical analysis, just so you know how it works and how to make it work for you.

There are many books, I'm not going to recommend any, so you can pick up anyone and grind at it, open your charts and practise, spot these patterns and make them second nature.
