The world has greatly evolved and one needs to work smarter now than just working hard. Working hard is good but laborious. So if you are an employer in this 21sr century then it is time to provide ways by which your employees can be productive and help your company to grow by working smart.

The following ways can be adopted by you to help achieve this;

1.Encourage Risk taking: Working smart comes with it's risk and look around you, you would noticed that a lot of good things we are enjoying today came about by another risk takers So if you need your employees to work smart allow them take some risks and your job will be to guide them to safety.

2.Delegate duties: Let some duties be handled by your employees so that they can do these duties when you are not around. The good thing will be that work continues as usual whether you are around or not because they are already used to duties, so they will do it effectively even in your absence.

3. Allow employer input: Another good way your employee can work smart is if you can allow free hands so that they make their input, work will be smartly done this way than always instructing them.

If the employee working smarter, the most gain will still go to the employer. That's the reason that the employer should take the working level of his workers in order to enhance their level of productivity. The employers need to improve the working level of his workers by doing the following.

Creating conducive environment: the working environment most time goes a long way in determining the way the workers will be working. It is not a gainsaying that we are smart workers if provided with good tools and environment. So an employer that needs maximum performance from his workers needs to provide the best for his workers.

Undergoing of training and seminars: it is incumbent on the employer to make sure that the workers undergo some training and seminars where they will learn some rudiments things that they will need in their discharge of their works and tasks.


The last thing is to be now to motivate the workers to work harder . There are various ways to motivate workers. Some employers motivate their workers by making sure that they pay their workers salary on time. While others make sure they give them incentives. Some may even give them awards for a job well done

Yeah the employees working smarter will so favor the workplace and this is why the employer should do all that it will take to put in place all that's needed for an employee to work smartly. Some employers I don't know if it is out of ignorance or what believe humiliating, shouting or even scolding a worker will do the magic. They will prefer to use the wrong method and want to get the desired result that is wasted time and efforts. Some workers needs more than mere words or bad actions you need to be more proactive to get the right answer.

Training and retraining staff will help them learn new skills and acquired new knowledge that will help them do better. You don't expect one that had an old knowledge or way if doing things 10 years back to give you the saje output with one that have acquired the new knowledge about 6 months back. So employers needs to think need when dealing with people that they need desirable result from.

Again, providing a conducive environment with the right tool will help as well. There will be high productive when the tools available are enough for everyone and they are effective with the usage.

Your three points are valid and I hope an employer that needed a change in his or her establishment will gets to read this. Workers can be what you want become of them but you must provide the necessary things and put them in place for the staff. If you are giving instructions, then you should make sure that it is as detailed as possible. So that the worker carrying it out wouldn't be doing left when it was supposed to be right. You know when this happens it would caused a delay in the delivery of the job that was assigned. Working smart entails delivering a job either before or on the deadline. But if the instructions wasn't really disseminated properly and the worker have to redo a staff , there's no way such job will be submitted on time or one being able to meet the deadline

So in essence the employer plays a huge role when it comes to workers being smart for jobs assigned you would need to help the workers perfect effectively and efficiently.Even allowing them take short breaks is very important, it will help refresh them so that they can perform their jobs to the optimum level

In a business organisation filled with employees and employers call superiors and work is one of the ways in which the superior or their employers can absolutely help their workers or employees to work smarter and more faster in accomplishing business goals and objectives is by providing office equipments and business machines that totally it's the free flow and a fast and swift analysation of business activities and practices possibly from the employer to the employees and former employees to members of the public . If an individual or business owner absolutely uses the manual ways of handling business that is in his business organisation it will be totally cumbersome and erroneously bad to store business that is and most importantly it will be totally strength consuming but if an individual uses office equipment and machines like desktop computers and laptops to store business data and monetary transactions it's absolutely self somewhere more better because business data could absolutely be retrieved and assesed the best and easily possible way .
